Why cant religion be accepting?

I enjoy where I live for the most part, but it always seems that no matter where you go you will always find some religious nut-balls. Now I’m not trying to be offensive in anyway here. When I say “religious nut-ball” I mean people who would kill to shove their religion down your throat. And maybe its just me… but it always seems to be a christian church doing this. Now for the most part I respect the christian religion, the charitable loyal and kind ones. The church’s that will lend you a hand when your down ect. My grandma follows such a church, and you don’t see her doing anything bad. She is respecting the religion in today’s time as mainly a set of values to follow and use to improve the lives of you and others through kindness of the heart and nothing else. Now the other church’s (the religious nut-balls) believe that the solution to everything is to make them the same. Now I’m no expert… But isn’t that how wars in the past started? For example, one time while driving home, i drove past the nut-ball church, and on their sign outside they had put the phrase, “To believe In evolution is to be an atheist.” Just wow… how can our city allow them to post that in public on the highway? These are the kind of religious people I cant stand. Why does our race believe that in order to obtain peace we must all be the same? Its an irrational and unobtainable thought. In my opinion the only way to world peace is for our species to learn to accept all of our differences. Unfortunately this is another impossible task as our species has more than proven that it is too ignorant to be capable of this feat. And those out there who are, or strive to be accepting, then I commend you and hope that the world brings you prestige for the kindhearted person that you are.
